    I have years of experience and training on survey design, with which I can create or advise on surveys to ensure they gather the data you need accurately and without bias.
    I also have mastery over alternative techniques, such as data scraping and navigating API connections.

    Given a data set (or after gathering my own) I can explore and analyse the data to find results, trends, and the story they describe. With these I can write reports or articles to explain the data clearly, and give recommendations if appropriate.

  • Dashboard

    If you have a database or files on a server which are updated frequently, I can build a connected, interactive dashboard. This will allow you to explore your up-to-date data yourself in the future, and track the KPIs of your business easily.

  • Consult

    With my years of experience working with data I can advise you on any data analysis projects you are working on. I can answer questions on your methodology, what conclusions you can actually draw from your data, and more.

  • Ideate

    Given a topic, problem, or theme I can produce multiple pitches for Analysis projects you can run. The end goal could be anything from web content to publications or reports.

  • Visualise

    If you have data you have already processed I can visualise the results in an interesting, but clear & concise way. I can produce interactive infographics, or visual reports for internal use or publication.

  • Data-driven Content - Cognitive Biases & Sex

    I created this article for ‘Bad Girls Bible’ through the content marketing company ‘Fractl’. In this project I ideated from a theme, gathered the data (in the form of a survey), analysed the data and produced this report for the client with the assistance of a graphic designer.

  • Medical Research Report - Pressure Ulcers in Covid-19 Patients

    A study I did alongside a professor of medicine and woundcare nurse consultant on the rate of pressure ulcers forming on Covid-19 patients during the 2020 pandemic. I focused on data reporting to allow the medical professionals to make informed statements in their own article which was published in the BMJ.

    The data they provided was mainly in the form of nurses notes on each patient, and required extensive cleaning. Additionally, I found supplementary bed occupancy data from NHS Statistics.

About Me

I graduated from The University of Manchester in 2014 with a Masters degree in Mechatronic Engineering (Mechanical and Electrical Engineering combined). Since then I have worked consistently with data in various forms - as a DBA for a financial technology company, as a Creative Strategist for a data-led content marketing company, and as a Data & Business Analyst for an Estate Agency.
